Minutes of General Meeting - April 12, 2007
The meeting was called to order by President Doug Feick at 7:00 PM
Don
Fairbairn presented a treasurer's report indicating a bank balance of $5,033.01.
Doug reported on a WHOA's meeting
with Janet Razze, Wyckoff's new school superintendent. The group consisted of Doug Feick, Tony Orsini, Jean Fornasieri, Joe
Mac Dougall and Rich Bonsignore.
Tony Orsini reported on his analysis of teacher overstaffing. Some very interesting
data was supplied using comparisons between years and staffing.
Joe Mac Dougall reported on letters to Congressman
Scott Garrett by WHOA and the Wyckoff Township Committee and any responses.
Dick Canova discussed the pros and cons
of the Boulder run redevelopment.
A general discussion took place with member participation concerning teacher's
contracts and the lack of health care contributions.
Present were: Doug Feick, Joe Mac Dougall, Don Fairbairn, Tony
Orsini, Rich Canova, Rich Bonsignore, Brian Scanlon, Chuck Dye, Ida Dye, Jeff Leach, Cheryl Leach, Donald Hayek, Bill Andres
and Martha Andres.
Meeting was adjourned at approximately 8:30PM (Dick Canova, 2nd by Jeff Leach)
